Rodney is the founding pastor of North Church in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. His desire is to reach the lost and make disciples who are completely devoted to the God-first life. As a pastor, leader and teacher, he encourages living a life given fully to following the teaching and example of Jesus Christ. He is noted for his energetic and engaging and relevant communication.

Rodney and his wife, Shannon, met as college students at Oklahoma State University and were married in 1991. Shannon is passionate in her pursuit of Jesus and for providing a God honoring environment for their three kids: Gavin, Phaedra and Annabeth.

In the spring of 2002, Rodney and Shannon, along with Jason and Michele Morris, started North Church with nothing but a passion to reach people for Jesus. Today, North Church is not only impacting hundreds of families in the Oklahoma City area but it is reaching around the world to share hope to a hurting people. In the Dominican Republic, for example, North Church sponsors nearly 300 kids assisting their spiritual, educational, nutrition and medical needs. From the first day their mission has remained the same: developing followers of Christ who love God and love people.
