For the first time this Sunday we are doing a series through the movies. It is guaranteed to be inspiring, encouraging and challenging. Our purpose is three-fold:

1. We will use blockbuster movies to bring out deep, Biblical truths.

2. This will be a great series to invite your friends to a one-of-a-kind church experience.

3. We are looking forward to seeing more people come to Christ this month.

Sunday I talked about our vision. The NORTHchurch's vision is the what we want to accomplish. It is the ultimate result desired for our people. It is simple. It is profound. It is not something new. It is always a challenge.

Love God. Love People. Follow Jesus.

I also talked about how we get it done. The vision is useless without expectations and a plan of action. So I presented "The Standard" for how we operate and function as a church.

The Standard is our core set of values at NORTHchurch. It sets the attitude and actions for how we get things done. If the vision is the compass, The Standard is the map that gives us direction.

At the top of the list of twelve standards is the emphasis placed on unity- "We Are United Under One Vision". NORTHchurch is built on the vision God has given and we will defend our unity and that vision.
